I‘ve gotten countless DM’s, emails, and comments asking about my everyday makeup routine and I finally want to share my go-to routine with you guys! A natural look is my favorite, and especially in the summer months I hate the feeling of wearing a lot of heavy makeup and eyeshadow on my face. I put together a quick tutorial using my favorite products (and they are all available at Sephora to make it easy for you).
STEP 1 // FOUNDATION
I spritz my makeup brush to dampen it slightly (this spray is an old favorite). I’ve been using Fenty Beauty’s Pro Filt’r Matte Longwear Foundation and it is a game changer!
I’ve heard SO many amazing things about Fenty Beauty and finally decided to try it out and I am so glad I did! The range has so many foundation colors so it’s easy to find an exact match, and the finish is really skin-like. When I first wore it Kiel said my skin looked really good – and this was a day when my skin was most definitely not looking good! That’s all the confirmation I need to keep this foundation as one of my go-to’s.
STEP 2 // EYELINER
I like to line my upper lids with a dark black liner to accentuate my lashes and make me look more “awake.” My favorite waterproof (which is totally necessary for summer) eyeliner is Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. The formula is really black and the liner tip is very fine so it’s easy to get precise lines.
STEP 4 // MASCARA
Next, I apply mascara. My natural lashes are short and fine and Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara makes them look like actual human lashes (and then some). It doesn’t flake throughout the day and gives me lashes the length and volume boost they desperately need.
STEP 5 // LIPSTICK
I just picked up a few of the Sephora Collection #Lipstories Lipsticks and I really like them! They are super hydrating and come in multiple finishes. I have some in both a matte finish and satin finish and they are all so pretty (they come in metallic too!). I’m wearing the color Spring Break, a natural looking pink that is great for everyday wear.
I hope you guys liked this down and dirty tutorial. I’ve linked to all of the products I used above to make it easy for you! If you have any more questions feel free to email or comment below!
