I‘ve always loved lingerie – I just feel like a better version of myself when my first layer is comfortable and pretty. I first heard about Thirdlove when I was researching the best fitting bras a while back. I heard that they had half sizes for their bras and had a total face-palm moment – why don’t all bras come in half-sizes!? As someone who has always been in-between a C and D cup, this totally changed the game for me! Their band sizes also go down to a 30, which is great for petite frames and people like me that have a hard time finding larger cup sizes with small bands.
With fall quickly approaching, I’ve been updating my wardrobe with staples that will carry me throughout the season. Bodysuits have kind of become a thing. Maybe I’m late to the bandwagon, but it wasn’t until earlier this summer that I really got into them. They can be worn with a pair of jeans for daytime, and they are perfect paired with a skirt and blazer for a nighttime look (minimal outfit changes involved)!
This bodysuit is also really comfortable – something not many bodysuits can claim to be. I’m surprised at how many times I find myself reaching for it instead of a bra in the morning, even when I know I’ll just be lounging around the house that day. I love the deep V sheer front and even though the lace is dainty, the bodysuit itself feels really well constructed. I feel like a million bucks when I wear it, even if I end up layering a bunch of clothes on top and no one sees it but me! It also comes in black, which I can see looking really good with a plaid blazer and jeans.
I also used my fall wardrobe refresh excuse to pick out a new bra for myself. I have a few colors of this 24/7 Lace Balconette Bra – I love the style and fit! I tend to gravitate towards more romantic looking lingerie and I love the pretty lace on this bra. The cups underneath are really comfortable and it gives the perfect amount of support. It feels like I’m wearing a t-shirt bra! I’m also a big fan of this strapless bra – it offers really good support and doesn’t slide down. It would also work really well layered under the bodysuit for better coverage if you’re heading out of the house.
