Is it just me or does today feel like Friday? TBH, it’s felt like Friday all week. I’m just now adjusting to the time change (don’t judge), but I think it has something to do with the fact that we’ll be in vacation mode next week with Thanksgiving. I can’t seem to stay focused for more than 20 minutes without either thinking about 1. How excited I am to see family that I haven’t seen it months/almost a year, and 2. Food. Last year I went crazy and single-handedly cooked an entire thanksgiving meal from scratch for 8 people. It was a lot of fun for me since I love cooking, but this year I think I’m going to take a different approach and focus more on the time spent with family and less on the food. I mean, that’s what Thanksgiving is all about.
These sunglasses are a favorite of mine. I splurged on them a couple of years ago and I haven’t regretted the decision one bit – they’ve really stood the test of time.
(I was trying to do a cheesy 80’s mall portrait pose but I couldn’t stop laughing!)
Oh, and speaking of taking a step back and relaxing, I just booked my first acupuncture appointment for the day before Thanksgiving. Am I crazy? Who has had acupuncture before and can tell me that it’s actually amazing and that I don’t have a death wish because I am simultaneously looking forward to/dreading it.
I hope you are all having an amazing week so far!
EDIT: Guys – I’m so embarrassed I published this post yesterday on Friday thinking it was Thursday. See? I wasn’t kidding when I said I was all off-track. No wonder it felt like Friday…because it was.
