The past few years were all about big, oversized sweaters. Don’t get me wrong, I love a slouchy knit as much as the next person. But I’ve been seeing a lot of really beautiful sweaters with come out lately and I might be jumping ship (at least for the time being). Sweaters with cropped silhouettes, statement sleeves, chunky knits, and playful embroidery have been making their way into my closet this season.
This charcoal grey sweater from Autumn Cashmere is one of the newest additions, and I love the exaggerated bishop sleeve. It’s so comfortable too! I purchased my first cashmere sweater last year and I can’t believe what I was missing out on. It’s a piece that is worth investing in. I’ve worn this one so many times already, so I know I’ll get a lot of use from it throughout the season.
This sweater is really lightweight so layering is really easy, but it’s also warm and incredibly soft. I’m also thinking about getting a few to give as Christmas gifts. I also love this trumpet sleeve sweater and this cute one with vintage-esque floral embroidery.
These pants are something I picked out on a whim and can’t stop wearing. The dark purple velvet is so Fall appropriate, and it’s been fun to pair them with other jewel tones like my favorite red boots for a monochromatic look.
